Carolin Jurkat

Die in Niedersachsen geborene Sopranistin begann ihre Studien in den Fächern Theologie und Musik in Hannover, bevor sie zum Hauptfach Gesang wechselte. Stationen Ihrer Studienlaufbahn waren Stuttgart, Rostock und München.

Bereits während ihres Studiums sang sie Frasquita (Carmen) und Amor (Orpheus in der Unterwelt). Im Mai 2025 debütierte sie als Zerlina (Don Giovanni) im Musiktheater im Reaktor München sowie als Gretel und Taumännchen (Hänsel und Gretel) in Königsbrunn und Augsburg. 2022 sang sie die Gilda (Rigoletto) in einer Produktion der Hinterhofoper des Theater Bonn.

The soprano, who was born in Lower Saxony, began studying theology and music in Hanover before switching to voice as her principal subject. Her studies took her to Stuttgart, Rostock and Munich.

While still a student, she sang Frasquita (Carmen) and Amor (Orpheus in der Unterwelt).
